Wow!
Weblogger is pretty cool. Granted, the back-end is Windows… and it doesn't have a nifty-keeno-cool OS-native client like LiveJournal does… but still.
Its templating system is superb. Its macro support is fascinating. Its Plug-In support is easy as pie. And its web based interface just makes sense all the way around.

Elizabeth (*waves*) directed me towards Mr. David Grenier's site (via a LiveJournal comment). This man's entry entitled "F**k the vote!" brings up a good point. Read what he has to say. If anything, it'll give you lazy-ass, couch-potato, I-did-my-American-duty-and-voted people something to think about.

Yet another interesting point. I am not certain how accurate this is, but it is something to think about.
For those of you who are sitting by idly as your country is about to be placed in the hands of the incompetent… get off your ass and make a difference.
