Had coffee with Nicki tonight. It is refreshing to talk to her. It kind of gives me a new look on my own life.
As we were sitting outside, a girl named Julie asked if it would be okay if she sat with us. Of course, we said, “yes”. After some time, we find out that Julie is 17 and is a high school student at Grapevine High. She has an English teacher named Mrs. Cook that she dislikes. THEN, Julie finds out that Nicki is also a high school teacher that teaches freshman English at Colleyville Heritage (a school in the same district as Grapevine High). It was kinda funny to see Julie’s face after she had this little piece of information.
I didn’t realize until tonight how much I will miss Nicki when she moves back to Chicago or to Virginia or wherever it is she decides to go.
mcrypt support is not available as a standard debian package for PHP, and compiling separately is giving all sorts of errors, so I am going to compile Apache and PHP by hand. I was being lazy by not doing it this way before now.
I have compiled these two applications so many times I could do it in my sleep.
