So Brad canceled. Bah. And Nicki decided she didn’t want to go. So… no Bowling for Soup for Daniel… unless I go by myself. Bah.
So now… the big decision of the evening: eat popcorn, fast food, or at IHOP. Hmmmm.
because a Reverend can't be wrong.
Went out for Vietnamese food with Kim and Nicki. Then went and saw Snatch.
Came home to a hole in my ceiling and a nice thick pad of soggy carpet.
When I turned in my rent, and my thrity days notice, I informed the office of the small issue I was having with my upstairs neighbors and their water usage. The office informed me that no one had told them yet.
Huh?
You mean your carpet is sopping wet, your water heater is leaking like a stuck pig, the entire entry way to FOUR apartment homes is drenched, and no one bothered to tell the office but me?
To Whom It May Concern:
I, Reverend Jim, intend to vacate unit 411 of the property at 800 East Ash Lane in Euless, Texas, also known as The Overlook At BearCreek, on 2/28/2001 in accordance with my lease contract.
Future correspondence should be addressed to:
4253 Hunt Rd.
Suite 4806
Carrollton, TX
75010
Thank You,
Reverend Jim
Brad and I finished up the apartment stuffs yesterday.
We are moving to The Mansions at Coyote Ridge into one of their Cassatt floor plans. The floor plan shown there is not entirely accurate. Our kitchen has an island instead of the long bar shown. And the room off the second bedroom is not a closet, it is another room… and attached to that (though it isn’t shown) is a small walk-in closet.
We move in on the 15th… but, since it is now raining in my apartment, maybe we will try to get that expedited.
it’s raining…. in my apartment. Jaclyn says I should go tell the management. But I kinda like the dripping sound. Besides, I’m not showered or dressed, and my apartment is a mess.
The funny thing is, I am putting in my 30 days notice today. They will probably think my notice has something to do with the rain.
Toby is fascinated by the drip-drip-drip of god-only-knows what kind of water. I just think the designs it makes on my ceiling looks cool. I wont think it is so cool, if things break though the, as best as I can tell, soggy upstairs floor.
