Moving done… for today.
Dad brought his truck. Together we brought the washer, the dryer, my dining room table, four dining room chairs, an oak bedroom desk, a computer desk, a filing cabinet, patio furniture, two monitors, and a djembe. Thanks, Dad.
Went to Lowes and bought a new dryer hose. Hooked it up, thinking I could do some laundry tonight. Went to plug in the dryer, and realized the plug for my dryer is different than the one in the wall. Called my dad. He says that there are several different connector types, and that if I go back to Lowes with a hand-drawn picture of the type of connector I have, they will be able to sell me one that works. Then I have to attach it myself, and plug it in. What if I wire it wrong? I don’t want 220 volts surging through my body. I don’t like this one bit.
I also went to Albertson’s. Bought cleaning supplies. Comet, Dawn, scrubby sponges, regular sponges, Resolve, 409, Cascade, Tide, Snuggles, and Scrubby Bubbles bathtub cleaner. I also bought three Cadbury eggs. Mmmm. Now I remember why Easter is my favorite holiday.
I also went to Radio Shack. Picked up three more RJ-45 wall plates, so I can finish the wiring. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a 16 port 100MB/s ethernet hub?
I am gonna call Lowes and see if they are still open, so I can finish the dryer off tonight. If not… looks like I’ll have to wait ’till tomorrow.
