One of our servers in California was rebooted last night after 577 days of uptime. It appears the machine could no longer speak to the network and the administrator of that box felt it would be easiest to just reboot it.
For those who are curious, the server is a small Alpha 433au with 128MB RAM [...]

INBOX down to 37 msgs. Exchange server is running smoothly (as of thirty minutes ago). I am a happy Daniel, and I am going to bed.

I am talking about the advantages of Linux with my Microsoft Support Professional while I wait for a 2GB file to transfer from one disk to another. He agrees with me.

Oh! yay! I'm being transfered to another engineer. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes. But… before I can talk to another engineer… I have to sit on hold just a little bit longer. yay!

I told you that the exchsrvr directory we are using is on the D Drive a million times. So why do you keep sending me to the C Drive… and then wonder why the file is not there until i remind you that I am running on the D Drive?

Mr. Microsoft told me that I needed Service Pack 3 for Exchange 5.5. I asked him where to get it, and he directed me to the download site. I told him the link didn't work. He didn't believe me.
So he went and checked.

It is sad that most of my family and friends fail to notice that I had my hair cut this weekend, and yet many people at work (some I don't ever talk to, and some that I cannot stand) notice the second they see me.

I just ate a bag of plain, ordinary, orange colored Cheetos…… and now my tongue is green.
This is just plain wrong.
