May 18th, 2001:

ugh

I must’ve been tired. The last thing I remember was laying on the couch around 8:15pm trying to decide if I wanted to go to Downtown Fort Worth with Mike and company or not. And then I wake up to the sound of the front door opening. It’s 12:45am, my neck hurts from sleeping without a pillow, I’m still wearing my work clothes, and I’m pissed for sleeping through a Friday night. Brad said, “If you managed to sleep through a Friday night, you MUST have been tired.” I guess he’s right.

I still had my phone on “Vibrate” from being at work… so I didn’t hear it ringing in my sleep. My phone only keeps track of the last 10 missed calls, and there are 10 NEW missed calls in the list. None of these 10 people left a message. Ugh.

Now I am, pretty much, wide awake… and will be for some time. This is not a good thing, because jaclyn> and I are going to the Dallas World Aquarium tomorrow. So I have two choices: A) force myself to sleep now, toss and turn in bed for hours and eventually fall asleep waking up 1,000,000 times in the middle of the night and finally falling asleep around 6am only to get up 3 hours later to leave or B) staying up and doing something until around 6am, going to bed, sleeping well for 3 hours, and then getting up to leave. Either way I guess I only get 3 hours of sleep… so I may as well stay up, right?

me: are they better than EOI messages?
xdevious: On levels of Pain, if XML was an orgasm and EOI was removal of the penis by a blunt object SOAP would be like getting racked.

styx

bleu92 was kind enough to give me tickets to Styx tonight… but now, I don’t think I am going to go.

Reasons:

Those aren’t good reasons, I know… but they are reasons none the less. I’m considering getting in touch with peener, mike and lisa to see if they want to get together tonight. I am also considering hanging out with david and julie, depending on the crowd that will most likely be at their place.

alive?

Someone sent me a text page on my way to work this morning. It read:

07:Are you alive?
  9:19    05/18/01

I gave it a few seconds thought before answering myself in the affirmative. I don’t think my pager expected an answer.
