Sometimes I get behind on keeping this time capsule updated with the events of my life. That leaves me in a bit of internal, mental conflict. I don’t want to write about current stuff, until I get the old stuff out of the way, and I don’t want to write about the old stuff because I am bored with it already. In an attempt to solve all the problems of the world in one single sweep of my keyboard, I offer you the follow synopsis of the last seven days of my life. I have peppered the synopsis with some of the events that I did write about, in order to help you keep track of time.
Got up REAL early. Went to Starbucks to see Ben Folds. Nate, an old old old friend was there with two girls. We talked. It was good to see him. Ben came out dressed like a Starbucks employee. He rocks. Played good songs. The crowd sang. Went to McDonald’s. Got paged. Went home to work. Took a nap. Tickets for the show never came. Called Ticketmaster. “They will be at Will Call, bring your ID and your credit card for proof of purchase.” Went to the Red Jacket. No cameras. Walked all the way back to my truck then all the way back to the line. “My tickets are at Will Call”. “I don’t see your name on the list.” Much arguing. My name is added to the list. I get inside. Too many people. Bad view. Two people in front of me making out. Every time she would come up for air she would be looking in MY eyes. Very disgusting. Eventually rockbugg pulled me up there with him. Great view. Excellent show. I bought a shirt. Went home. Slept.
Woke up. Work sucked. Called Nate. Not home. vertigo00oo got a LiveJournal account. Downloaded lots of music. “Well she did and she does and she’ll do it again”. Went to bed.
Woke up. Work sucked. filmstar rocks. Got an e-mail that contained the most adorable words in it: “So enough about me. Let’s talk about you. What do you think of me?” Went to bed.
Woke up. Gave a long training session over the phone at work. Enjoyed it because the people I trained are very talented and intelligent people: My dad, and his employees John and Gary. Came home. Wrote an email. Felt good. Had a LONG conversation with a great person. “Meet me on the corner and we’ll start again”. Stayed up later than I should. Was well worth it. Went to bed.
Woke up. Took the day off. Bought an MP3 player for my truck. Went to get my truck inspected. “You need a Dallas County inspection, but this is a Denton county inspection center”. “Oh”. I go home. I rip out my dash. I take jaclyn>’s car to get some more parts. I also buy a nifty little tool box. I come home. My truck is gone. It got towed. I am pissed. I drive to Dallas with
Went to see “Don’t say a word”. Good movie. Brought jaclyn> to Dallas. Went to get coffee with
