I’m playing hooky from work today. Well, kind of. I have a conference call at 9:30 that should prove to be incredibly boring: A bunch of people talking about stuff that they want, and me telling them that I know exactly how to do and that it wouldn’t take that long to do, except that I am booked solid for the next six months or so, and even then, since they are not in my department other people’s work would end up jumping on top of theirs. I love it when I get to be the bad guy.
I need to get the following done today:
Go to second inspection place to have them say I have to go to Dallas County
Go to recommended inspection location to have them tell me they are also not Dallas County, but only after giving me an oil change
Go to recommended inspection place to find that they have two hour wait
Go to recommended inspection place to have truck inspected
- Pay rent
- Take out the trash
- Pack bags for trip
- Clean cat box
- Deposit check from Jaclyn
Do laundry
- Clean out ice chest
Get contacts from front office
Accidentally (hA!) look down the blouse of the front office lady
Check mail
Sit on stupid conference call for 2 hours.
- Return Jaclyn’s movie to ballbuster so she doesn’t owe them $1,000,000
