hearts and thoughts

I've started learning a few new tunes on the Guitar. "Street Spirit" by Radio Head is a great song. I've got the picking pattern down, as long as I play it at 75% the actual speed. The song itself is actually VERY easy. And EASY is what I need. The only reason I haven't been practicing this song much is because I don't know all the words by heart, and even if I did, I can't keep up with Thom Yorkes incredible vocals. The other is "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town". This one I've got down, but in order to keep up, I have to sing along, or hear someone else singing… otherwise I forget which parts go where. I can play this at full speed, with very few fuck-ups. Then again, it is a VERY easy song. Easier than Street Spirit. But it sounds so nice. I have always loved this song, and began to like it even more the day Joel played it and we both sang along (Of course he was just making it up as he went along, because he's cool like that. Maybe some day I'll be that cool). I'm downloading it now to make sure I have all the words in the right places. I've heard the song a million times, but I just want to make sure.
