I can stand a lot of stupidity. I can handle the fact that the majority of this nation goes nuts over things I will NEVER appreciate, especially in the television arena. But the networks have gone too far this time. There is a show on Fox called "The Chamber". I've only seen 5 minutes of it, so I may not have the entire show format down, but what I have seen is absurd. A contestant is placed in a chamber which gets increasingly colder while spitting out ice, and 60MPH blasts of cold air. In addition, electronically induced muscle contractions occur due to elements placed on the back and sides of the chair the contestant is strapped into. During the course of this torture, the contestant must answer various questions from "What is your mother's maiden name?" to "Naked or Not - the statue of liberty?" to "Who is the brother of Emilo Estevez?".
That's just silly.
