Even though I have been doing, what I considered a DAMN good job at NOT spending money, I am overdrawn by $80. Unfortunately, the last payment to go through was my car insurance down payment. If it bounces they will cancel my policy. I hope my bank pays it. I also think I have a check sitting in my mailbox for $160. If I do… that should help a bit. I get paid friday, thankfully, but I owe Toyota TWO months worth of car payments, which means that check is gone. Luckily, I get paid one more time before rent is due.
I think I should start keeping a checkbook register. I used to use Freecoins but got pissed off when I couldn’t decode the data file and wanted desperately to transfer the data from my Palm into GnuCash.
