hey google… look over here…

I pay $80 a month for Cable Internet service. I pay $45 a month for Satellite TV. I pay $40 a month for landline telephone service. (All of these costs are split with my roommate). I currently have no services of any kind.

The purpose of this post is two-fold. The first reason is to bitch about "The Mansion at Coyote Ridge", who is responsible for most (all?) of the onsite wiring and therefore blame lies on them for these outages. My cable modem service is constantly out. This is, essentially due to "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" however, "BBNow", my provider, is to blame as well. If they had more secure equipment rooms, faster response time to problems, and more stable equipment, the problems would not be as prominent or as affecting. My Satellite service goes out whenever there is a storm and remains out for sometime afterwards. This is due mostly to "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" and the horrible job they have done at wiring the onsite Satellite dishes that are used to provide service to the buildings. However, "Verizon Media" (reselling Direct TV) is also partly responsible for my problems, as they have signed a contract with "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" in order to provide us with service. Therefore, it should be, at least partially their responsibility to ensure proper and stable wiring of facilities. My telephone service is provided via "Verizon" via contract with "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge". I very rarely see an outage with it, and this is by far the longest interruption of service I have experienced. I would not even have a landline telephone, but "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" requires it for operation of the security gate, which is constantly broken (closed) or left open for repairs anyway. Additionally, though it is not a problem currently, my Electric service is provided by arrangement with "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" through "CoServ". How it is possible that, relatively small, storms can constantly knock out power is beyond my level of expertise. I am not sure who to blame for this, either "The Mansions at Coyote Ridge" or "Coserv".

The second purpose of this post is to inform you that I do not have access to the Internet while at home. Additionally, my telephone doesn't work, so don't try calling me from my gate. If you wish to visit me, bring a cell phone so I can run outside and open the gate for you, or be prepared to wait outside for someone else to let you in. Finally, I have no access to the outside world while at home, save for my cell phone. In the event that some occurrence requiring the immediate departure of my place of residence (bomb threat, tornado, nuclear war, free coffee) should arise, please contact me via cell phone.
