good friends
March 28th, 2002I have three of the worlds greatest people to call friends: Brad, Morgan and Jaclyn. Thanks to them, I have renewed faith in the possibility of actually finishing this move before the sun goes down on March 31st.
Aside from actually putting shit in the back of a truck and hauling it away, I am about 50% done with the garage, 95% done with the kitchen, 100% with the living room, 95% done with my bathroom, 95% done with the laundry room, 100% with Jaclyn's room, and 75% done with my room. That means that, not counting actually picking the stuff up and moving it, I am about 87% done (not taking into account the weight that each room SHOULD play on the total amount of work).
I got the day off of work tomorrow. Kind of. I have to do two small things in the morning, and that is all. I will get up at 3:30am, shower and get dressed, and then take Jaclyn to the airport. Then I will get home, and take a nap. Then I will wake up and do work stuff for about 3 hours. Then I will clean the living room, and my bedroom, and finish the kitchen. Then I'll head over to the old apartment and do some more packing and cleaning.
So far, I really like living here. The place is comfortable, and I feel like it is my home, even though I have only been here about four days.
This weekend will be kind of lonely as everyone is going out of town: Joel, Justin, Bonnie, and Jaclyn.
