April 1st, 2002:

cleaning

I am making VAST improvements. I can actually walk to my bed and my desk WITHOUT jumping. That is a good sign. However, I haven’t even dented to boxes in the dining room, and the living room still has a desk a dining room table in the middle of it. That’s no good at all.

I am in dire need of motivation.

The end of an era.

Jaclyn, I am so sorry to bring you this news. My condolences go out to you, and your friends.

forgetful

I forgot to give Jaclyn her apartment key back when I picked her up from the airport yesterday. So I’m getting in the shower, then driving to Irving to drop the key off, then stopping at Wal-Mart to get trashbags, then coming back here to clean up this mess.

Mess!

The trash pile at my old apartment after I finished moving.

I cleaned up all the mess in the new apartment that was in the last pictures. And then we moved two truckloads of stuff into it. More cleaning needed.

drop dead

I sent my boss an email last night informing him that, since I ended up working for him throughout both of the comp days he gave me on Thursday and Friday, that I would need to take today off in order to finish up the move. I also informed him that it was going to take me four more hours to finish the moving, and that after the moving was done, I had to unpack some, because I couldn’t even see my bed. I sent him this email at 9pm.

However, when my boss decided to reply to that email message I sent him, instead of just hitting reply and saying what he needed to say, he typed his response into my text pager window and smacked “send”. And, because of that, I am now awake. Why would he do that? I guess I’ll never know.

I really could have used a few more hours of sleep.
