it's later than you think
April 14th, 2002A good time has been had in Blowmont so far. Crabs were eaten (and I have a greasy shirt to prove it). Arcade boxes were purchased (actually, the guy gave us the second one free).
Justin, Joel, Dirtjump and I all went bowling this evening. Then we cruised around Blowmont looking for things to do. We drew a collective blank so, instead, we took an after hours tour of Justin and Joel's high school, and various other highlights of Blowmont life.
It looks like we wont be leaving tomorrow until sometime after 3:00pm. Joel is having lunch with his family at 1:30. I still have to get this one a prize. I have yet to find anything worthy… so lets hope she doesn't end up with nothing.
I spent some of today helping Justin install a home network for his mom. It is so hot here, after about 5 minutes in the attic I was dripping with sweat. I cannot stand the heat at all, but for some reason, it didn't really bother me. It was actually kind of fun to see just how much sweat my body could produce in 15 minute intervals.
I really like Justin's Dad. He's a really nice guy. I also like the relationship that Justin has with his Dad. It's almost like they are buddies more than they are related. They talk and laugh and joke with one another. They share common interests, and tell each other stories. They send each other things in the mail that they think the other would appreciate.
It's getting late, and I am about to pass out. I should be home tomorrow some where between 9pm and 11pm.
