One year ago today I met an extraordinary girl. Though I didn’t know it then, that girl would come to mean more to me than she will ever understand. In honor of that incredible year, I have made her a gift.
This is the first song I have ever recorded, and the first time I’ve ever sung into a microphone. Given all that, I think it turned out okay. However, since I am a perfectionist, I’ll never be truly happy with it.
Oh.. and in case you didn’t know, this song is a cover (well… kind of) of a Guns N’ Roses song. I didn’t write it. (Thanks, Justin, for pointing out that I forgot to mention that.)
Thanks to Justin and Joel for putting up with me being a titty-baby these past four days, and sticking by me and continuing to offer advice. Joel played the guitar solos, and both Justin and Joel added background vocal tracks at the end.
