Six Flags Manipulation

I'm taking my cousins, Chad (14) and Chelsea (8), to Six Flags today.

I'm not upset about that fact, because I haven't seen them in a while and will enjoy spending a day with them. What I am upset about is the way their mother (my aunt, my mom's twin sister) manipulated it into happening. I get along really well with my Aunt. She's a bit crazy when it comes to her parenting style, but, aside from that, we agree on most things. But she has this way of manipulating people into doing what she wants and it's annoying. If it were someone I saw on a regular basis, I wouldn't put up with it. But, because it's her, and she's family, and I only see her once every 5 years or so, I can tolerate it.

So, at any rate. I'm taking them to Six Flags. My mom is calling Julie (since I don't have her new number) to see if she wants to come along. If she doesn't then Chad will have to ride all the rides by himself, since Chelsea wont go on them and isn't tall enough to even if she did want to. If Julie comes, we can switch off staying with Chelsea and the other with Chad.

Hmmm. Mom just called back. Julie has to work today.

So that's my day. It should be okay. Chad and Chelsea are both very well behaved. Chad wont mind going on the little kid rides for his sister's sake, and Chelsea will be real good about waiting in line for an hour for a ride she can't go on so that Chad can. I just really wish my Aunt hadn't done this. I wish she had come to me before she went to them so that I could have worked all of this out and planned it out the right way instead of being stuck doing it half-assed. We could of waited for a day that my sister had off. That would have worked out perfectly.
