SURPRISE!!

That's right. A going away party/birthday party is being planned for Jaclyn. I'm terribly sorry for the short notice.

Jaclyn is leaving July 24th. Her birthday is July 24th. The only day she can possibly do anything is July 13th.

She's made an appointment to get her hair cut for 11am and I am going with her, so I figure we'll be done around 12pm and then she'll want to get lunch. That's when the party starts.

I'm not quite sure where, but it's going to be held at a lake, or a park in this area. Please plan on attending around 12pm if you can, and we'll be there around 1pm. I need someone to volunteer to head up the secret side of the plans, since I wont be there because I'll be the one bringing her there unknowningly.

I want to have a barbqueue. Hot dogs, hamburgers, you know the drill. We should get two cakes. One that says "happy birthday", and one that says, "good luck" (or something like that). I'm going to try to invite other people that this message will not reach, and if you can think of any others that would like to come, feel free to invite them as well.

Birthday gifts, going away gifts, and gifts of money will be accepted. There will probably be a money tree.

Again, I'm not sure exactly WHERE it will be yet, but you should plan on being there around 12pm on July 13th.

I plan to work my end like this… I'm going to tell her that there is a new restaurant that she would like and that we should go to it for lunch. She'll say okay, and I'll try to find it. I'll get lost, and end up near the place of the party.. in our driving around I'll keep passing the party spot until she notices the big banners and signs that say "Happy birthday, JACLYN" and "Farewell, JACLYN".

I really want to make this memorable for her, since it will be one of the last times she will be with all of her friends here at the same time. Because of that, I think it would be fun to have some activities planned out.

Maybe someone could make up a quick little "jaclyn's life in a nutshell" skit to act out, where someone would dress up as and play jaclyn acting out her own life for the past couple of years in a silly funny humorous sort of way.

It would also be fun to play silly games that involve her… like.. "pin the leg hair on the jaclyn" (instead of "pin the tail on the donkey"), where everyone gets to try to attach leg hair to a big picture of jaclyn that we've printed out, or drawn.

I am open for ideas and suggestions.

I just want to make sure that she has a really good time with all of friends and we give her something to really remember.

• Ideas for little skits, songs, or other things we can do about her, or because of her.
  
• Ideas for silly gifts that I can pick up to give her from everyone.
  
• RSVP's from all of you.
  
• Volunteers to bring food or drinks or anything at all
  
• Money, even a few bucks, to help pay for all of this
  
• Anything else you can think of.
