Well. Her website is clean. It doesn't throw porn in my face at the first glance. Either her hit counter is a lie, or she is spamming because, there is no way a site like that would get 34,000 hits. She provides a link to MeSoSingle.Com, which is fine, however, she also provides a link to MeSoAsian.Com and she's not Asian, according to her MeSoSingle profile and she doesn't look Asian in her picture.
My guess is that it's not porn spam, but that the MeSoSingle/MeSoAsian people are responsible for this. The picture is fake, the MeSoSingle profile is fake, and they are just doing it to get more users to sign up in order to see her profile. They are most likely harvesting addresses from LiveJournal, and have customized the email to appear more realistic. If this is the case, these people should have contacted me first for some consultation.
First of all, they should have provided a LiveJournal username. That would have been more realistic. They shouldn't have bothered with the website, and should have had a few posts at the top of her journal mentioning her profile. Then they could have spammed people and waited for the magic to happen on its own.
Maybe she is real. Maybe I'm wrong. However if you're a LiveJournal user and you get an email from someone with a MeSoSingle profile, I wouldn't bother signing up to look at it.
I really hate spam. Especially spam that is almost believable.
Update: Candle got the same email message. That means it's spam. I'm reporting it to SpamCop.
