Brad, Morgan, and Zoe were planning on going camping on Galveston Island this weekend, and I was going to go with them. I realized, however, that I'd really like Jess to be able to go as well, and I have a lot of things I need to accomplish before she gets here on the 6th, so it might be best for me to stay home this weekend.
With that in mind I have the following list of tasks that I hope to accomplish this weekend:
- Take everything everything out of my truck.
- Get the truck washed.
- Put the old stereo back in the truck.
- Clean the center console of the truck real well because I know the carwash will do a horrible job.
- Bring all the cardboard boxes in the closet to the trash.
- Move all the stuff I have in the corner of the bedroom (that have been waiting for room in the closet) into the closet.
- Move all the stuff in the Den into the closet.
- Get all the bagged laundry washed.
- Go to target for linens and pillows.
- Go to Wal-Mart for a few kitchen items.
- Get my hair cut.
- Put new wiper blades on the truck.
As I've said a million times before, if you'd like to join me and provide constructive, encouraging company, it is welcomed and appreciated. You don't have to work. You just have to make sure I do and keep me from getting too bored.
I've done one load of laundry this morning, and I've showered. This isn't off to a very good start. I'm not quite sure where to begin. Cleaning out the truck might be a good place to start.
