Justin noticed that the comment counters on revjim.net weren’t updating when he left a comment. I dug around in the Movable Type Support Forum and found a post regarding the problem I was having.

Because of MT 2.51′s new content change detection (which only updates a page if the content in that page has changed) you need to install Digest MD5 into your extlib directory. Without it, MT uses non MD5 methods to locate changes and they, apparently, aren’t all that good.

Those of you running MT 2.51 that haven’t added the Digest MD5 module may want to do so.

Comments and TrackBack have been reenabled. This way Justin will quit crying like a girl.

I’m very fidgety this morning. It’s been 13 days, 14 hours and 51 minutes. But who’s counting?

Supposedly I’ve saved 3 days and 2 hours of precious life by avoiding 409 of the things so far. I guess that’s supposed to make me feel better. It doesn’t. It just makes me realize that I’ll be spending 3 extra days and 2 extra hours of my life feeling like I feel now.
