I'm considering ordering a JohnCompanies virtual Linux server. I'm looking for brief feedback from anyone who currently hosts with them, or has hosted with them in the past. In particular, I'm curious to know how responsive their servers are, and what you used them for. Additionally, I'd like to know where the daemon/service binaries reside, and whether their size subtracts from your alloted 4GB. Ideally, if you'd be so generous, I'd like a shell account on one of these virtual servers, so I can poke around a bit. And, while this is a long shot, I'd really like to hear from anyone who is running Debian in a chroot environment on a JohnCompanies server.
