Some of you may not know this, but Jess drove last Saturday; in a stick; by herself. She dropped me off at work, and drove all the way to my mom's house. And then, later that evening, she drove all the way back to pick me up. And, according to her, she didn't even stall once.
Today, she's going to drive me to work again. It'll be a little tougher, because she doesn't know the route while she knows the way to my mom's house perfectly. But I'm sure she'll do just fine.
I'm hoping that, while I'm working these horrible hours, she'll be able to bring me to work everyday. It'll cost a little more in tolls and whatnot. But at least this way she'll have a car. The only problem is that I have to switch buildings at 6pm Tuesday through Friday. And if I won't have a car, that makes the 2 mile drive in between buildings very difficult. I'm going to check today and see if there isn't someone who gets off around that time that would be willing to give me a ride on their way home. Hopefully. Otherwise, maybe there's a bus that goes between the two that wouldn't be too difficult for me to catch.
