I need a car. Bad. My problem is that, while I NEED just any old car, I have something very specific in mind that I WANT. And of course, that which I want is rare.
I’m looking for a Four Wheel Drive (or All Wheel Drive) vehicle with a Manual Transmission. I’d prefer an SUV, Hatchback, or Wagon style vehicle but will also consider Sedans and Trucks. No Coupes though. If the vehicle is big, a bigger engine (6 cyl) would be preferred. I’d like to pay cash for it, which means it should be around $5,000. However, for a good deal, I will consider financing up to $10,000.
I’ve looked every where and spend at least an hour each day looking some more. However, so far I haven’t had any luck. So I’m offering a $200 finders fee. If you have a dealership near your house and you happen to see what I’m looking for there, let me know. Maybe you live near someone or know someone that has this type of vehicle for sale. Maybe you see one on your way to work everyday in a field. Maybe you’re actually a car dealer. I don’t care how you find it. If you are the first person to point me in the direction of the vehicle that I buy, I will give you $200.
Don’t bother looking on cars.com, autotrader.com, or edmunds.com as I search all three of those first thing in the morning just about every day so, chances are, if it’s there, I’ve seen it. I’d prefer not to have a Ford or a Chevy, but, if the miles are low, I’ll consider it.
