camera fundraiser

As you all know, my camera was stolen this past Saturday. I can’t really afford to shell out the money to replace it and am left without a camera at all. So, despite my reservations, I’ve decided to sell prints of my photographs dirt cheap in order to raise money. Please don’t feel obligated in any way to donate/purchase. Christmas is coming, and times are hard all around, I know. But, if you’ve got a few bucks to spare or have wanted to purchase one of my photographs in the past, I’d appreciate your consideration.

I’ve set up a page to accept donations/purchases and keep track of the money collected in real-time.

Buy Reverend Jim a camera!!

Feel free to spread the link around, and thank you.

If you’d like an image from my picture page that isn’t currently offered for sale, let me know. In order to cut costs, I didn’t make the others available. However, for about $10 extra, I can make a print of anything I have. Additionally, if you’d like to sponsor a future photograph of your choice, I will accept requests at $175 each. Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions, or you can comment here. Additionally, if you’d like to donate without purchasing, email me, or paypal money to camerafundraiser AT revjim DOT net.

Thanks again.

A tiny request…

After this weekends theft of my Nikon D100, all three of my lenses, my flash cards, batteries and camera bag, I find myself without any combination of body, media, and lens that can actually be used to take a photograph of any quality. Unfortunately, the cost to replace all of the stolen items is around $4000, which I just don’t have right now. So, I’ve got a project in mind. But first, I need a little help.

If you’ve got a few minutes, go through my photo album and select your 5 favorite photographs. In order to make this a little bit easier, I’ve made a single page that shows all of my images as thumbnails with links to larger versions (warning: this page is bandwidth intensive). Then either comment here or send me an email and let me know what your favorites are.

Thanks.
