Dpreview has some more detailed information on the Nikon D70. I think Nikon's done a damn good job of putting Canon in its place. The body-only version will run about $100 more than the Canon Digital Rebel, and the lens kit will run about $300 more than Canon's lens kit. However, when you look at the differences in what you are getting, it certainly seems like it's worth the extra cash.
