Zend in the Clowns

It's interesting to see so many people *finally* realize what "PHP":http://www.php.net/ is capable of by looking at the new features released in PHP5. The initial reaction is to think, "Why would PHP benefit from having these features? They seem suited more to enterprise level programming than they do to simple web scripting." Then, in an attempt to figure it out, they see the truth behind it all. An excellent article entitled "Zend in the Clowns":http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2004/7/14/232752/474 is a chronicle of exactly this realization.

"PHP: Hyper-Text Pre-processor" is a *terrible* name for PHP, as it does so much more than hyper-Text pre-processing. As the above article points out, the meaning of PHP's name has changed several times in the past, and I, for one, think it's high time to change it again.
