I've got 36 "emails waiting":http://revjim.net/page/inbox/ for response (17 from this past week), 71 items in my "TODO link list":http://del.icio.us/revjim/todo/, 10 or so images that are edited and ready to go, a poem that's half written in my head, a new engine for this site about 2 hours worth of work away from being ready to roll out, a new fun project to play with, and one post for this (and several for the other) site almost ready to publish. I've also got plans for at least half of the hours this week that aren't absorbed by work or sleep (and that's with sleep hours at a minimum) including gardening, a Lost party, lots of exercise, and a trip to Scarborough Faire.
My point is that, when I have *this much* stuff hanging around, I have a hard time deciding where to start. So, instead, I procrastinate by worrying about which item to do and ranting about how I don't know where to begin this compounding the problem and thrusting me into a loop that will ensure I don't get any of it done.
Fun huh?
So, first come first serve, what do you want to see:
# 10 emails answered (including the one from you if I have one)
# 10 links cleared out of the TODO list
# a new picture (I'll let you choose the subject)
# a new poem
# a post on this site detailing some of the technical thoughts about this site's new engine
# a post on that site about those things
# more procrastination
# something else entirely
