I avoid those damn mail in rebates like the black plague. There really should be some stiff laws against them. My first ripoff was a Reveal product back in the 90's. I was supposed to receive $50 rebate from a MIDI keyboard I bought. Never saw that. Reveal filed for Chapter 11 and disappeared. Now, I'm dealing with a $30 mail in (one which I tightly held my breath before dropping it in the mail) from my Motorola cell phone and US Cellular. It's been 16 weeks and my 'rebate' is nowhere to be found. This is a scam, plain and simple and I am amazed there are no laws regarding this practice. Yep, I couldn’t agree more.
