I think you&#039;re aware that although WordPress is in a more familiar language for me also (PHP), I quite frankly dislike it&#039;s standard theme and general &#039;feel&#039; much generally preferring Typo or MovableType as the &#039;base&#039;.

Theme-wise you may be interested to know Christoph Boecken has successfully ported Marco van Hylckama&#039;s &#039;LUSH&#039; typo theme to Wordpress and is available below:
