I have come back to this image a few times. The first thing that struck me is the contrast of textures and colors. Then I sat for awhile and began to feel the bricks cutting the scene in half. They have a clarity that the rest of the scene does not. I like how I cannot see over them. I see the grass on the left and I wonder what "tomorrow" (what I imagine being built by and on the right side of the bricks) is. I wonder if nature is lost in tomorrow. I wonder if tomorrow brings constant confort such as the building of a home.
This picture feels like someones mission to me.
