It's *beautiful* outside, today: 78° and a nice breeze. Until then, however, I'm very grateful for "Daylight Savings Time":http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/. Really! It gives me an extra hour after work each day to enjoy the daylight and take photographs. And, due to legislation put in place by President Bush on August 8th, 2005, daylight savings time will be four weeks longer starting in 2007. I can't wait. Thanks, Gee Dubya.
I usually leave work somewhere between 3 and 6pm depending on what's going on that day. With the sun setting just before 8pm at this time of year, that gives me 2 to 5 hours of daylight to work with. 2 hours is just enough to get some place and make a few decent images if I happen to work myself into a good spot. With 5 hours, I can afford to make a few mistakes and still end up with some great photographs.
