Among the hosts of reasons that I know my wife loves me, there are three reasons that really stand out today:
* She packed me a lunch with two apples and two oranges.
* She included a package of Curious George fruit snacks which were given to her as a treat yesterday because she knows how much a love fruit snacks.
* The bottom button on my polo shirt is button, which I always forget and she always remembers.

Working out at the Gym makes me oh so hot. I have proof.
During my thirty minutes at the Gym yesterday I set free 1,108,760 joules of energy or roughly enough energy to bring 2.85 quarts of ice to a boil. Using this information, it’s easy to tell just how hot I am. Try this exercise.
Measure out 2.85 quarts of water, then dump it into ice cube trays. Place a thermometer in one of the ice cube cells and place them in your freezer. Wait until the thermometer reads 32°. Then, put a large pot on the stove, turn on the heat full blast, dump in the ice cubes and start a stop watch. As soon as the water boils write down the time. Now, here comes the fun part.
Take the pot off the stove and place your face over the burner. Get nice and close. Now, turn on the burner and start the stop watch again. Don’t move until the stop watch has elapsed the amount of time you wrote down. It may help to have someone else hold the stop watch for you. When the time is up, take a look in the mirror. Take a good look.
See. That’s how hot I am.

Since there were a few of you who were confused as to what a “YTT” was, let me explain. YTT stands for “yesterday, today, and tomorrow”. h2. Last Friday
See, when I don’t do this every day, I miss important stuff. Last Friday I stayed home from work and went to see the doctor. The “cat hair in my eye”:http://revjim.net/2006/06/08/ytt-just-a-puddle-of-sweat/ the day before was still there when I woke up and my eye was swollen bad. It turns out the cat hair caused an infection which led to allergic conjunctivitis. Fun! I’ve been putting two burning drops of death into each eye every two hours since then. It’s a bit annoying but my eye looks a lot better now.
h2. Yesterday
I ended up staying at work until 6pm and didn’t get home until 7. Jess had a nice dinner ready for us after which we relaxed for about 30 minutes and then hit the Gym for 30 minutes. When we got home, I went up stairs to handle some business stuff while Jess ironed the curtains she’d washed earlier that day. Then she came upstairs and fixed grammatical errors in the book while I edited some images from a recent maternity shoot I did.
h2. Today
Yesterday I mentioned I’d be working at home today. Well, I’m not. I have to host two meetings and teach an online training class today and doing that from home isn’t a good idea for two reasons: a) If I need something *right now* it’s hard to get a hold of anyone, and b) my home office phone doesn’t have a mute button. So, I’m at work today.
After work I’ll be heading home to, you guessed it, edit more photographs.
Tonight is “the show”:http://gentlenews.com/theshow/. We think we’ve gotten the server issues worked out. However, we’re going to try something different tonight anyway. We’re going to broadcast from two studios at once. Jess and me in mine, and Farris and Bonnie in his. If the server holds up, it’ll be live. If it dies, we’ll keep recording and then upload the recorded version when the show is over. We’re going to anticipate not being able to be live and therefore, not leave any room in the show’s schedule for calls, emails, IMs, etc. This doesn’t mean you can’t call in if we end up being able to broadcast… so have no fear. We’ve always got a place for you, our dear listeners.
h2. Tomorrow
Work. I’m hosting another meeting. I may work from home since it’s only one small meeting and that should be simple enough to take care of from there.
At 7pm I have a photo session with a very attractive friend. We’ve got some project work we hope to get through as well as general fooling around. It should be fun.
h2. Beyond
Thursday night we’re having dinner with some friends. Friday night we’re having dinner and playing cards with some other friends. Saturday is still up in the air. Sunday is Father’s day and, whatever I do, it’ll be with my Dad. Next Wednesday I have another photo session planned with one of my favorite models.
