I've given this a lot of thought. Trust me when I say that this seemingly trivial bit of information and the small seemingly insignificant question that follows are, in fact, very important to my success as an artist. Please read this carefully and give your opinion honestly.

I decided to do a little business math. In the end I determined that in a lowest cost scenario I need to make $84.04 per photo session just to break even.

my-time personal communication
Communication has always been of great interest to me, and I'm always looking for news ways to communicate better with more people.
I'm interested in exploring other personal my-time methods of communcation. For instance, we often leave voice-mail for one another. However, more often than not, we do so only because the person was unable to speak to us real-time and our message indicates little more than a request to contact us when available. What use does my-time voice communication have in the world?

*Yesterday*: yard work; mom, dad, my sister and her fiancee come to our place for father's day; grill pork chops; drink Manhattans; play cards; new savings account
*Today*: work; gym or swim or night photography tonight. interested?
*Tomorrow*: work; the show
*Beyond*: Hot photo session; new pricing going well; print order placement; print packaging; editin bayou photographs and selecting an image for "Five-A-Week":http://revjim.net/five-a-week/ subscribers; possible BBQ this Sunday; friend's birthday party in July; Kim in July; 4th of July plans made.

thought results in change
I've been doing a lot of thinking about photography, art, my business, and my happiness lately. As a result of this thought, there are a few business changes I'm considering and a few more that have already been made.
on the water at dawn
The canoeing trip I took with my dad Yesterday was amazing. I woke up around 3am, left at my house at 4am, and met him there around 5am. We were on the water by 6:15am and watched the sun come up from our canoe. It was very beautiful.

*Yesterday*: Canoeing with dad; very tired; dinner with friends; ice cream; in bed by 9:30; credit card stolen
*Today*: Lunch date; poker, dinner and drinks with friends
*Tomorrow*: Possible out of town trip; other wise, free in the morning and afternoon, swimming, dinner, and board games that night. wanna join us?
*Beyond*:Father's Day photography; Hot photo session next week; looking for plans next Saturday; I'm turning 28 soon.
