So far I’ve had two offers for a personal tour of two Texas cities: Midland, and the greater San Antonio area. I’ve also had several suggestions made to me in the way of strange and quirky places to visit in Texas.
I’m still looking for leads on rooms to sleep in, cheap hotels to stay in, sights to see, small towns to explore, people to photograph, and companions to travel with.
I’m considering just about any city in any state or region in all of America as long as it’s close enough to get to in 8 hours or so, or that I can find things to see and do in 8 hour intervals on the way there. I’d consider flying if I had cheap transportation when I got there. New York city has crossed my mind a few times.
So if you’ve got a sight to see, a person to photograph, a town to visit, a tour to offer, or a couch I can sleep on for a night, let me know, will ya?
Kingsland, TX. My mom lives there, and it’s in the beautiful hill country. I’m sure you’d find many beautiful shots there. You can go to Inks Lake State Park and feed the deer by hand. It’s a really pretty part of the state. It’s where Gloria is from too. :)
