"<em>Forget them, Wendy. Forget them all. Come with me where you'll never, never have to worry about grown up things again.</em>" - Peter Pan

"You may have to grow old, but you never have to grow up." _--my mom. :)

I can be very childlike. I love being childlike. People sometimes confuse this with childish, but that I am not. Childlike brings me joy, laughter, and connection. Childish would cost me my job, possibly some relationships, and respect. Childlike means rolling in the grass, cracking silly jokes, coloring with crayons, and playing thumb war. Childish means bullying, story-telling, and wanting others to be responsible for me.

Be childlike, whatever that is for you. Allow yourself that freedom.

Wonderful post.
