Hooray for Emergency trips to Indiana.
I trained two full classes of 25+ people. I taught. I joked. I made friends. I had fun. I made up a large portion of the training material on the spot having never performed the task, seen the task performed, or read information on how to perform the task. That was fun.
I drove from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne Wednesday morning to train a class up there that day. Since my Dad was, out of sheer coincidence, in Fort Wayne also that day, I hung out with him and some of his employees Wednesday night and had burgers and played poker.
It always rains when I’m in Indiana.
There are no good coffee shops in Indianapolis. There is a rather nice Starbucks in one of the more Bohemian parts of town, though. I think that, next time, I’m going to stop looking for places to go and just go there.
The leaves on the trees in Indiana are just starting to change color. This brings out a whole range of emotions in me. More on that later.
I took zero pictures. I just didn’t have any daylight hours to spend on my own. I’m glad I didn’t bring all my equipment.
I’ll be in Indiana again next week.
I still don’t know what I’m going to be for Halloween.
Things are changing here. A Lot. You won’t like it. I don’t care.
