		<description>Frankly, I looked at it and just didn&#039;t feel interested.  As it is I almost never remember to update my Status on GAIM and that is something I use constantly.  I don&#039;t do text messages (I feel that if I am by a computer I can use IM and if I am not then I&#039;ll just call you), and I can&#039;t think of any status that my friends (or even my wife) might set that I would want an IM sent to me about.  If something is going on they know how to contact me.

As for things like news, I have RSS feeds from Blogs and News Sources I care to read.

So frankly, it just seemed to me like another distraction that would only provide minutia that isn&#039;t significant enough to warrant a blog post, IM, or phone call.</description>
