I think we're just about done with the home repairs needed to get our house in tip-top shape for selling.

• Carpet in Living Room. CHECK
• New landscaping in the Front Yard. CHECK
• Ant treatment. CHECK
• Kill all the wasps. CHECK
• Clean out the garage. CHECK (THANKS DAD!)
• Bring boxes down from the attic. CHECK
• Turn Studio back into a Game room. CHECK
• Sort and organize papers, electronics and craft materials. CHECK
• Make Kitchen Sink shine. CHECK
• Deep clean EVERYTHING. CHECK
• Touch up paint on walls and ceiling. CHECK
• Find replacement handle for back faucet. CHECK (and waaay harder than you'd think)
• Bring all the garbage to the dump. CHECK (and some inmates helped us unload the truck)
• Clean up the upstairs balcony. CHECK
• Clean up the downstairs patio. CHECK
• Power wash patio. CHECK
• Wash windows. NOT DONE
• Paint baseboards in Game Room. NOT DONE

That's pretty good, I'd say. We've got home insurance lined up on the new place, the moving company has surveyed our stuff and we're just sort of waiting for the lawyers to line up our closing in NY and for some kind soul to come buy our house – which is, BTW, a featured house on Yahoo.com! Woo!

Yesterday we bought baby room furniture. We put the first coat of primer on it last night. So today, amidst working and dealing with house stuff,  we're priming it again and then painting it to be the colors we want in the room. Yay. Fun with paint.
