I’ve got a bit of bad news. I’m not proud of it, but it needs to be said.
Jess and I have always allowed promiscuity in our relationship. However, with that, always came the responsibility of protection and the burden of disclosure. Jess found out yesterday that, around the time the baby was conceived I had told a little white lie. I had a one night stand that I wasn’t proud of and we didn’t use protection. Like I said. I’m not proud, but it happened. I thought I could sneak it by her but, as is usually the case, she found out.
Needless to say, Jess was quite upset at first but has calmed down quite a bit. So, we’re alright for now. But the minute the baby is born Jess is going to demand a maternity test. I just hope the baby’s hers because I don’t know what I’ll do if it’s not.
