I choose DISQUS as my comment management system. But there are many advantages for being a DISQUS member , especially if you are commenting a lot on DISQUS enabled blogs

Read something about IntenseDebate being bought by WordPress, so I'll probably pair the two together. On a side note, DISQUS reportedly has a well-formed API that makes it suitable for stand-alone discussion-like threads. Just got through installing bbPress; but will give DISQUS a try soon …

I haven't tested it on my blog but I've looked at it elsewhere. When I first started testing Disqus vs. IntenseDebate the SezWho folks chimed in mentioning their product and I gave it a spin then. I found the feature set much more limiting than what was being offered by IntenseDebate and Disqus.

Intense debate "smooths In" well with blogs. It possesses a nicer style then Disqus, in my opinion. Both services have similar and great features by intense debate looks nicer.

These days SezWho is in service for most blogs. Have you ever tested this one?
(For me, SezWho goes poorly with my blog design, those blunt red rating stars disturb the eye. The comment system is limiting and requires one to give their email address, also.)
