Hey guys -

Just wanted to let you know that the Clickpass integration is nowhere close to completion. Our announcement was intended to line up with their release. We have a release of our own that will make things much clearer.

Wow, its even worse than that for me...

I just tried using my current openID to log in, (by clicking on the openID logo and NOT the clickpass logo.) I made sure I was logged in to my openID provider first, got the note from my provider that Disqus wanted to verify my identity, said yes, and was returned to an error page stating no session data was found. (Strike 1)

Just to verify, I tried it again and this time was taken to a "create disqus account" page after confirming my identity. Excuse me? Isn't this why I have an openID? (Strike 2)

(okay - to be fair, I expected these first two strikes based on your description of the process...)

Okay fine. I'll create a disqus account. I pick a user name, enter my email (gmail) address, select "don't upload a photo" and click submit. I'm returned to the sign-up page with an ajaxy red arrow pointing to the email box and a message stating it's a required field. (Foul tip)

Enter my VALID email address again and click submit. same error (Strike 3)

Sorry disqus, I think I'll just leave my comments as "unverified" until you fix your openID support.
